Creating custom roles
Administrators can create custom roles and assign privileges to them. After creating custom roles, you can optionally add role entitlements to control access to specific objects, functionality, and areas of .
Your account must have the Advanced User Security feature activated. Advanced User Security gives you more control over user access. This feature is available in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus Editions. It is also available as an add-on feature to the Professional and Professional Plus Editions. To request this feature, contact your representative.
Creating a custom role gives you the flexibility when controlling what users can access. You have the option to add pre-defined roles to your custom role. You can also control access to specific objects, functionality, and areas with Hub entitlements.

In the Boomi Enterprise Platform, navigate to Settings > Account Access > User Management.

Select Custom Roles.

Select the plus icon to create a role.

Optional: Select an MDM role from the Inherits Role drop-down to add a list of predefined privileges. Adding predefined privileges provides a base on which you can layer additional privileges

In Additional Available Privileges, select the check box next to the privileges you want to add to your custom role.
